Middle Atlantic Products has instituted a Minimum Advertised Price policy (MAP) for the benefit of all of our valued resellers. Although we actively encourage and support the advertising and promotion of our products by our domestic dealers and distributors, we find it necessary to implement a MAP policy so that Middle Atlantic Products, Inc. is not devalued in the marketplace, and so each Middle Atlantic Products partner can compete equally on the basis of the value they provide the customer, whether that be product knowledge, service, training, support, inventory or any combination of these items and more.

1. An authorized Middle Atlantic Products reseller shall be deemed in violation of this MAP policy if they advertise, or otherwise place in the public domain, prices for Middle Atlantic Products that are below 35% off retail price, with the exception of the specific accessory products listed in the Exceptions Addendum below.

2. This MAP policy applies only to advertised prices. Middle Atlantic Products, Inc. does not and will not impose or enforce any policy with respect to the actual re-sale price of the product, and the authorized reseller is free to sell Middle Atlantic Products, Inc. at any price and terms it deems appropriate.

3. This MAP policy applies to all advertisements of Middle Atlantic Products individual product SKUs, and includes but is not limited to magazines, websites and other electronic media, broadcast emails, catalogs, flyers, coupons, newspapers, television and radio. The policy does not affect any in-store advertising or in-store actual product pricing.

4. Pricing listed on an internet site is considered an “advertised price” and must adhere to the MAP policy. Once the pricing is associated with an intent to purchase (added to shopping cart or order), the price becomes the selling price and is not bound by this MAP policy. Statements such as “add to basket to see price”, “we will match any price”, and “call for price” are acceptable.

5. From time to time, Middle Atlantic Products, Inc. may choose to offer special promotions on certain products. In such an event, we reserve the right to modify or suspend this MAP policy in whole or in part by notifying all resellers of the duration and nature of the change. Middle Atlantic Products, Inc. further reserves the right to adjust the MAP policy by amending this policy as posted and providing 30 day advance notice to all authorized resellers.

6. Intentional and/or repeated failure to abide by this MAP policy will result in penalties and may result in loss of authorized reseller status for Middle Atlantic Products, Inc.

Exceptions Addendum
The following accessory products shall be excluded from the Middle Atlantic Products Minimum Advertised Price policy, and resellers shall be free to advertise these specific product SKUs at whatever price they deem appropriate. (Click here for the Exceptions Addendum - Excel format)
