MIDDLE ATLANTIC PRODUCTS QUIET-COOLT SERIES CONSOLES SUPPORT MULTIPLE LOCATION SECURITY INSTALLATION BY CAM-TEK SYSTEMS ORLANDO, FLORIDA, September 12, 2005 - Showcasing the advantages to security systems integrators and their customers of its fully-welded Quiet-CoolT Series security console, Middle Atlantic Products has supplied Cam-Tek Systems of Mechanicsburg, PA with 30 consoles to house CCTV and Access Control systems for installation in a multi-state chain of grocery stores. Cam-Tek has been tasked with the continuing program of refitting existing stores and outfitting all new stores with a dedicated security room with authorized user access only. Each room then houses a dual position Quiet-Cool console from which security personnel can monitor activity in the store and parking lot. The console features dual racks that house various types of CCTV equipment such as DVRs, Monitors, Flat Screens, Video Printers, Power Supplies, and a rack mount UPS. Each desk has additional space for various controllers. "We chose Middle Atlantic Products' Quiet-Cool consoles because of the quality of construction and thermal design," said Kortney Dunkle, President of Cam-Tek Systems. "Aesthetics are also important and we felt that this console presented a high quality image and neatly showcased the CCTV equipment we specified." TThe Middle Atlantic Products Quiet-Cool SeriesT surveillance and monitoring consoles have been engineered to address the unique challenges of housing digital security equipment such as DVRs and hard drives. The Quiet-Cool Series' active thermal management system keeps heat-sensitive digital equipment cool through the use of filtered air intakes, baffled fan exhausts and gasketed doors. By maintaining optimal operating temperatures, equipment life is extended and maintenance cycles are reduced. The Quiet-Cool Series also features built-in sound isolation including acoustic damping material on the insides of side panels, gasketing on all doors and quiet-running fans. Baffled fan exhausts and air intakes isolate the operator from noise generated by such equipment as DVRs and hard drive arrays. Because traditionally optional features are standard on Middle Atlantic Products Quiet-Cool SeriesT consoles, specifying and ordering is extremely simple due to the limited number of sku's associated with the product. The factory-welded 14-gauge steel construction provides superior strength and also makes for quick installation in the field with no assembly required. Additionally, built-in features on consoles and related equipment such as 45º connecting wedges and top monitor racks facilitate effective cable management, saving even more valuable installation time.
