NEW AT INFOCOMM 2005, MIDDLE ATLANTIC PRODUCTS OFFERS DEEPER, TALLER ENCLOSURES TO ACCOMMODATE BROADER ARRAY OF PRESENTATION AND AV TECHNOLOGIES LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, June 8, 2005 — With the continuing evolution of technologies and practices in the AV communications marketplace, Middle Atlantic Products has evolved its line of enclosure systems, furniture products and accessories to provide integrators and their customers with greater versatility, functionality and aesthetics. Today, with the opening of InfoComm 2005, the company debuted new deeper, taller enclosures to accommodate the emerging range of deeper system components. Ideal for use as a mobile AV presentation unit, the new 26” deep Middle Atlantic Products PTRK portable enclosure is constructed of welded 16-gauge steel and is finished in rugged black textured powder coat. Standard features include commercial-grade locking casters, key-locked front and rear doors, adjustable, threaded, numbered rackrail and laser knockouts. The unit is available with a range of options such as an attractive graphite top, built-on LCD monitor mount and key-locked plexi-glass front door. The new 26” PTRK joins the successful 23” unit, providing integrators with a secure, robust enclosure solution that protects and yet is aesthetically appealing in almost any environment — education, worship, corporate or government! Middle Atlantic Products will also debut its new taller SRSR Series, rotating, sliding rail system. The original 12 to 24 space SRSR that provided integrators with unprecedented rear access to equipment connections in millwork, cabinets, flush in-wall and even console applications is now joined by a 25-30 space SRSR that also features a self-centering mounting base, rotates 90 ° in either direction and can removed from the rack frame to allow shop-site integration and job-site termination. With the additional capacity of the new taller SRSR enclosure, Middle Atlantic Products provides integrators with even more latitude to design and install systems for boardrooms, classrooms, houses of worship or training or corporate facilities where technical function needs to be matched by aesthetic form. As of InfoComm 2005, the Middle Atlantic Products MRK Series gangable enclosure that has become an industry standard for its category-leading structural, thermal and cable management functionality, will be available in 42”depth. The MRK Series, whose extensive line of available options includes an array of riser bases, doors, top and base options, power accessories and cable management products, can now accommodate deeper AV technologies.
