LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA, November 15, 2006  — Expanding on its comprehensive array of innovative and intelligent thermal management solutions for residential AV applications, Middle Atlantic Products today introduced its new Component Cooler at EHX Fall Expo 2006.  Part of the Quiet-Cool Series™ - a line of cooling products designed to effectively remove heat from critical areas where high temperatures can impact the performance and lifespan of AV electronics – the Component Cooler is a thermostatically controlled, ultra-quiet cooling product for use in open shelving, cabinet and closet environments.

Designed to remove heat from AV components located in open shelving, The Component Cooler has been carefully engineered with residential integrators and end users in mind to ensure easy installation and consistently effective heat removal for a variety of common residential AV applications.  The Component Cooler removes heat right at the source.  The Component Cooler installs directly on top of components that emit large amounts of heat, such as cable and satellite boxes and switches on automatically when a component gets too hot.  Small and unobtrusive, Component Coolers can be used individually or in multiples for efficient cooling of stacked components.
