PDT Series is industry’s thinnest, most configurable power strip series

LAS VEGAS, March 16, 2006 — Middle Atlantic Products is giving installers the freedom to configure their power distribution based on each system’s individual needs by introducing its new PDT Series Configurable Thin Power Strips at the 2006 NSCA Expo. With unprecedented versatility, the PDT Series is field configurable for the installer’s choice of single or dual circuits, and isolated or non-isolated ground, providing enhanced power distribution choices inside enclosure systems. The PDT Series’ low-profile design measures less than an inch deep, saving considerable space within cable-intensive enclosures and allowing integrators to install power strips in previously impossible locations.

Factory pre-assembled and easily ordered with just one SKU, the UL-Listed PDT Series is field-configurable for single or dual circuits — removing even more variables when it comes to ordering, stocking and installing power strips. Featuring a J-Box for easy hardwiring and alternating outlet colors to differentiate circuits, the PDT Series additionally includes corded models in 15- and 20-amp versions.

With each outlet strategically spaced to accommodate plug-in power supplies, the new PDT Series Power Strips provide optimum useable space while occupying minimal rackspace. Alternating color-coded outlets on PDT Series Strips denote the circuit source when configured for dual circuits.
