Middle Atlantic Products redefines the NVR/DVR product category with configured enclosures that feature integrator-specified active cable and thermal management built-in!

More than simply better design and integration, one SKU streamlines ordering application-specific enclosures.

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, September 26, 2007 - As part of its continuing initiative to pioneer thermal management in enclosure design for security systems, Middle Atlantic Products will showcase its Configured NVR/DVR Enclosures with built-in thermal, power and cable management functionality at ASIS 2007. The new Configured NVR/DVR Enclosures are specifically designed to address the thermal management needs of NVRs and DVRs, most notably to exhaust the large volume of heat generated by increasingly densely-packed digital recording electronics. Each Configured NVR/DVR Enclosure facilitates efficient passive thermal management featuring a split rear door with industry-leading 76% open area, a fully vented top, fully perforated vented front door to eliminate potentially harmful heat build-up.

In addition to comprehensive convective thermal management, each enclosure ships with Middle Atlantic Products' jobsite-proven solutions for the essentials of any fully-integrated enclosure system including its new Vertical Lacer Strips, horizontal lacing bars, VelcroŽ cable management straps and brush grommets to provide a myriad of options for effective cable management and proper maintenance of cable integrity. Power management is also exceptionally provided for: new Configured NVR/DVR Enclosures include one 20 Amp, 20 outlet power strip that ensures adequate power outlets are available throughout the enclosure without compromising real estate.

Not only does the new family of Configured NVR/DVR Enclosures advance thermal control in heat-critical digital technology environments, but they also provide security integrators with an easier way to order full-featured enclosures optimized for NVRs and DVRs - enabling the integrator to capitalize on significant cost, freight and labor efficiencies. Both the NVR and DVR enclosures ship complete with essential accessories including leveling feet, ganging hardware, side panels and rack screws. DVR enclosures are configured with threaded rackrails while NVR enclosures include cage nut style rackrails and Z-rail adapters, along with a set of threaded cage nuts.

"With our new line of configured NVR and DVR solutions, Security Directors can be certain that the expensive, mission-critical NVR and DVR technologies they invest in are protected in the best environment possible!" explained Jay Franetovich, Application Engineer, Middle Atlantic Products. "Likewise, integrators now have a choice of jobsite-inspired solutions that allow them to design and build advanced systems more efficiently than ever before. We believe that innovation begins in the field and we're pleased to introduce these application-driven solutions that have been developed and tested with extensive integrator input."
