DENVER, COLORADO, September 6, 2007 - With the opening of CEDIA 2007, Middle Atlantic Products today announced that its Manufacturer Alliance Program, its initiative to database the dimensions and specifications of non-rackmount equipment and to provide custom rackshelf solutions for that equipment, has now expanded to include more than 8,000 components from hundreds of component manufacturers including 60 partner companies in the custom home marketplace. By actively growing and updating this database, Middle Atlantic Products provides custom home integrators with an efficient, aesthetically-consistent way to finish and mount custom home installations.
Coincident with today's announcement, the company also announced 48-hour turnaround on custom rackshelf manufacturing so that integrators now have almost-immediate access to this successful product line. CEDIA 2007 marks the seven-year anniversary of formalization of Middle Atlantic Products' Manufacturers Alliance Program, an initiative that was formed and grew as the company evolved its rackshelf service several years earlier.
As part of the Manufacturers Alliance Program, Middle Atlantic Products works closely with the majority of today's home AV component manufacturers to populate its database with new products as or even before they are brought to market. In addition to exchanging vital component information, Middle Atlantic Products also retains a dedicated, highly trained staff that measures each piece of equipment to document the precise measurement and ensure a perfect fit.
"In addition to superior aesthetics, custom rackshelves also prevent dust from entering the enclosure and provide effective thermal ventilation," said Michael Cukrow, Marketing Communications Manager, Middle Atlantic Products. "Clients immediately appreciate their system having a sleek, smart looking finish. Our Manufacturer Alliance Program helps us to ensure that we have components in our database when installers need them."
Companies that participate in the Manufacturer Alliance Program include Krell, Onkyo, Integra, McIntosh, AMX, Crestron, Classe Audio, Control4, Denon, Elan, Lexicon, Marantz, Music Giants, NetSreams, Richard Gray's Power Company, Rotel, Sony, Sunfire, and Yamaha.
"We're grateful to work with the best manufacturers in the industry," Cukrow continued. "Together, we look forward to building on this program and continuing to save integrators valuable time and provide resources that ultimately impact their bottom line on every project."
Manufacturers interested in joining the program can contact Michael Cukrow at 972-839-1011 ext. 1137 or via email at mcukrow@middleatlantic.com
