LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, April 16, 2007 - Ensuring that broadcast integrators quickly receive both standard and custom equipment for raised floor environments, Middle Atlantic Products today announced new and faster turnaround times for its Raised Floor Enclosure Support System™. The announcement, made at NAB 2007, means that Middle Atlantic Products now guarantees a 48 hour turnaround for RIB Series Riser Bases, VFEET and ANGLES, and shortened lead times for SRB Series Riser Bases and all custom riser bases - saving integrators valuable time and helping keep projects running on schedule.
Ideal for new installations and retro-fits, the Raised Floor Enclosure Support System™ comprises a series of modular riser bases, raised floor feet, raised floor support angles and solutions that integrators can use to quickly build a raised floor and arrange all of the necessary cable in an organized manner underneath or around existing and/or new racks. Featuring cable pass-through laser knockouts, the Raised Floor Enclosure Support System™ simplifies joining multiple riser bases and expanding existing racks with add-on bays, while affording integrators improved access to the plenum below and the ability to quickly remove surrounding floor tiles and access cabling below.

The Raised Floor Enclosure Support System? is designed to elevate equipment racks 2-1/2" above the floor in order to provide a lower cable chase between rack enclosure systems in multi-bay applications. The bases are also practical for performing field "rough-ins" before rack enclosure systems arrive on site, as well as introducing cool air through the bottom of the enclosure system to better manage rack temperature and eliminate the need for perforated floor tiles in front of the enclosure.
The Raised Floor Enclosure Support System™ is available in seismic certified models that meet the IBC, UBC, CBC, NFPA and ASCE standards.
