LAS VEGAS, NEVADA, April 16, 2007 - Providing broadcast integrators with a full-featured, application-engineered enclosure specifically designed to mount servers, Middle Atlantic Products today introduced its new WMRK Series Configured Server Enclosures at NAB 2007. WMRK Series Configured Server Enclosures are manufactured with Middle Atlantic Products hallmark design features that simplify cable, thermal and power management when mounting servers or other data-specific components, and save broadcast integrators valuable time and energy when ordering, installing and servicing components.
The new WMRK Series Configured Server Enclosures are versatile, full-featured enclosures designed to easily house servers from all of today's leading manufacturers. Middle Atlantic Products WMRK Series Configured Server Enclosures also ship complete with solutions that address the essential elements of a fully-integrated enclosure system, including: Thermal: WMRK Series Configured Server Enclosures are designed to facilitate passive thermal management with perforated front and split rear doors and a Decora temperature monitoring module for local monitoring; Cable: Electrical knockouts on rear plates, removable split bottom rear panel, integral gland grommeted cable pass-throughs and a 42 space vertical lacing strip; and Power: a 20 Amp, 20 outlet power strip or a 20 Amp, 10 outlet power strip ensure adequate power outlets are available throughout the enclosure.
WMRK Series Configured Server Enclosures are manufactured with standard front and rear adjustable cage nut style rail with rear Z-rail adaptors to accommodate most server-slide kits. With a 1,000 lb. weight capacity, WMRK Series Configured Server Enclosures are available in 24" overall width, making them optimal for use on raised floors, and in racking heights of either 24 or 42 spaces. Integrators will also benefit from design aspects such as front and rear door perforation that meet server manufacturer warranty specifications, and a grounding stud in compliance with NEBS and NEC standards.
