Las Vegas, NV––Middle Atlantic Products is introducing new models and options for their ready-to-assemble equipment rack lineup. These racks are ideal for smaller fixed and movable installations that are visible within the work setting such as video suites and conference rooms. The new offerings include both functional and aesthetic improvements that give A/V system installers more options to meet user and site requirements.
Two new depths have been added, bringing the depth range from 16” all the way to 28”, with heights from 2 to 28 rackspaces. The deeper models include rear rackrail for convenient four-point equipment mounting or for attaching cable management items. They also feature a new optional rear panel and intelligent cooling option that not only improves the appearance of the rack in use, but also improves the reliability of the installation by providing equipment cooling, security, and integrated cable entry functions.
Most models have a weight capacity of 200 pounds, but some of the larger models are rated at 250 pounds. Caster sets are available for all models to provide mobility. Depending on the size, up to three attractive wood grain finishes are available; black, oak, and maple. Many models now also have an optional tempered glass door for a secure, professional appearance.
